One night, Matt saw Lauren from across a crowded bar. It was as if the entire universe ceased to exist except for her; at that moment he knew he must pursue her relentlessly for the coming months, and if he were to be unsuccessful, there would be hole in his heart for all of eternity.

Just kidding.... we met on Hinge.

Lauren landed back in SF the morning of our first date after a long flight and rough weekend in Boston. She almost canceled, but thankfully, thought better of it. Their first date went way longer than either Matt or Lauren expected, with time flying as they talked about being from Massachusetts, reality TV, and a shared passion for food.

From there, it was off to the races. They've since traveled to 4 continents together, eaten many good meals, spent a lot of time and moved in together during Covid, and made room in their family - and bed - for Duncan, their very cute but very large third roommate.

We're so excited to celebrate our special day with you, in a place that's special to us. We've made San Francisco and the Bay Area our home the last 7+ years, and can't wait to either welcome you back, or for the first time!
